Where is Truman
Contest Rules

The Citizens for Brentwood Green Space (CBGS) have teamed up with Brentwood’s favorite Basset Hound, “Truman”, for an exciting new weekly contest designed to create awareness of Brentwood’s beautiful park system and support for our efforts to preserve green space.

Description of Contest

Each Monday for eleven weeks, a new photograph of Truman “chilling” in one Brentwood’s 11 active parks will be published.  To enter each weekly contest, visit the www.brentwoodgreenspace.org website and complete the entry form online by answering the question “Where’s Truman” with the name of the park.  Entries will be accepted until 11:59:59 pm CDT each Friday of the specific contest for that week.

Prizes

Each week for the duration of the contest, a winner will be selected at random from the pool of qualified entrants who have correctly identified the park Truman is visiting for that particular week.  Each weekly winner will receive a gift certificate from some of Brentwood’s most well-known restaurants and merchants.  These merchants include Corky’s, ePlus, Mere Bulles, Noble Springs Dairy, and Puffy Muffin.

In addition, qualified entrants who have correctly identified the park for any particular week will be eligible for a grand prize.  At the end of the contest, all entrants who have correctly identified the park Truman is visiting for at least one of the weeks will be placed in a pool for a randomized drawing for the grand prize of an iPod Touch, donated by ePlus.

Eligibility

Anyone who is a legal resident of the City of
Brentwood, Tennessee and eighteen years of age or older is eligible to participate in the contest.  Only one entry is allowed per entrant per week.  Entrants who attempt to enter the contest using multiple addresses, emails or identities will be disqualified.  Donations to the Citizens for Brentwood Green Space or the Smith Park fund raising effort are not required to participate in the contest.  CBGS directors and officers, and their immediate families, are not eligible.

Notification

Winners will be notified by e-mail  or the address used to submit the answer.  The winning names may be announced publically by CBGS on its website, newsletters and social media accounts.  Personal information for each entrant will not be sold or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties but may be used by CBGS for future announcements of the organization.

If an entrant does not wish to be contacted by CBGS in the future, they may opt-out by sending notice to either info@brentwoodgreenspace.org or to:
