Meet the Staff
Marci Truckey, Announcer
The past few years, I was the Volunteer Coordinator for YoungLives, which is the teen mom ministry of Young Life. God is now leading us down a new and exciting path and we are starting a new ministry for teens called Grounded. After getting my degree in Radio/TV broadcasting 10 years ago, I became a stay at home mom shortly after. I am so thankful for this opportunity to do my dream job here at Your Network of Praise after all this time.
While life at our household could be described as mostly hectic, God has blessed our mess over and over. In addition to raising our awesome kids, we have had the privilege of taking in a few teens in the time we’ve lived here. We wouldn’t trade that time for anything. While they may not be related by blood, we love all those guys as if they were our own.
We are so thankful that God has blessed us with all of these the opportunities to serve, our faith grows stronger every day as we learn to lean on Him at all times, in all ways. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” Proverbs 3:5 As if five kids didn’t keep us busy enough, we also have a hyper dog, 2 cuddly cats, and 12 friendly chickens.
