Student Senate
Who Are We?
As Ambassadors representing the student body of University of Fort Lauderdale (UFTL), we welcome you and hope that your experience here will help you to become 21st-century leaders to reach and restore the word for Christ. We represent the students and take pride in assisting them while they attend classes. Our goal is to make former and new students feel honored knowing that they belong to one of the most prominent schools in the world – University of Fort Lauderdale. Students will observe the Student Senate Body is accessible within the university and community. We are APPROACHABLE, HOSPITABLE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROFESSIONAL, and RELIABLE.
Student Senate Mission Statement
The purpose of the UFTL Student Senate is to serve as the elected representative of the student body. This will be accomplished by:
- acting as the liaison between the student body and the administration, faculty, and staff;
- attending to the needs of the students; and
- promoting programs of service, social activities, and educational projects in the interest of the university community.
